The Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication at Franklin Pierce University.
Young journalists and political junkies will have the opportunity to work with our faculty on communication skills, talk with regional and national media and political leaders, and interview the stakeholders. Last summer our team interviewed Senator Rick Santorum, and we will certainly be scouring the state for such opportunities this year. Our credentials? In 2008, the Fitzwater Center covered the NH Primary for YouTube and reached thousands around the world. As a result, we sent a student team to cover both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention as credentialed media, and Dan Rather Reports asked us to cover Election Night in the Granite State. We have been working hard to repeat that experience, and our applications are in for the late-summer conventions. More information can be found at http://www.franklinpierce.edu/institutes/mfcc/pres/index.htm Or, call Dr. Kristen Nevious, Director, at 603.899.1039.
